On 30th May, we were delighted to open the doors to our newest showroom, in Wakefield, marking an exciting milestone as our fifth showroom in the North of England, and another step forward in our long-term growth strategy.
Following our most successful year to date in 2025, we invested £250,000 into creating our new 8,000 sq ft showroom on Ings Road, Wakefield, while also creating five new jobs for the local area.
The opening formed part of our wider strategy to strengthen our presence across the M62 corridor, making it even easier for homeowners to experience the quality, value and service that Prestons Kitchens is known for.
Inside the showroom, we showcased eight fully operational kitchen displays, giving customers the opportunity to explore the latest German kitchen styles, colours, finishes and innovative design features. Each display was carefully designed to demonstrate the exceptional craftsmanship, functionality and attention to detail that define our kitchens.
As a family-run business founded by our Managing Director, Mark Parker, in 2014, we've continued to grow while staying true to our values. Mark was inspired by his father, who spent more than 30 years as the UK's largest importer of German kitchens, and that heritage continues to influence everything we do today.
